LAST NEWS FROM OUR ORLANDO EXPERIENCE...

Here some comments from the best riders in town!
Michele and Marco practically tried all rides between Disney and the Busch gardens. Today it will be the turn of Universal Studios... and then tomorrow we are back on our way home.  As usual, these blogs will keep a memory behind to remember for a long time.  Hope you had as much fun reading our short entries as we had creating the memories and writing them down.  We took a few more pics than what you see here, but have only so much space to post them.  Enjoy!

From Michele....

Hi everybody, my trip in Orlando has been fantastic. I have become a brave roller coaster rider as Marco and I have conquered  some of the scariest roller coasters in the world. One of them is called Shiekra. It is the name of a fantasy bird that is very fast and can fly at 90 degree angles. This roller coaster sends you up 200 FEET in the bloody air!! Then it teases you by leaving you hanged at a 90 degree angle. The brakes then let go and droop you down at a speed of 85 mph. This was a great experience to try. Watch this youtube to see what it actually looks like.

From Marco...

YO. My time in Orlando is going  really great. I went on every roller coaster and water slide I saw. My brother mike chickened out on some rides but I still went on those rides. i was still lucky because i was barley tall enough for the roller coasters. Pretty much every roller coaster i went on you had o be 54 inches tall but i was 55. so only one inch away. but our time in orlando was good. today i am going to islands of adventure. it has the best roller coasters and the funest rides. it has the incredible hulk roller coaster which on youtube it is in the top 10.

A great time indeed!  It is amazing how many things can be done in this place... especially if the right tickets are bought and you approach the long days with the proper attitude and good humour.  We covered a few new places since the last blog entry. We spent more than one day exploring the Busch Gardens company parks: Aquatica, Busch Gardens and SeaWorld.  Spectacular.  The wild life and the vicinity you can keep to the animals is fascinating.  Shamu is by far my favourite friend now!  The show they put on at Seaworld is really spectacular...we even caught a bit of the music with a nice saxophone and a talented singer with Christmas tunes!

The kids' favourite places are of course the roller coasters, with fast and high jumps.  Even Nick did a couple himself that I was surprised to see.  If you can all witness his courage in
this picture on the side: holding on tight to the coaster seat as his life was on the line!

We also explored the views and corners of the Egyptian sites (again, Nick's image says it all, right?)  A bit of sh
opping does not hurt either, since here outlet stores are the norm.  So much merchandise and so little time... and $$$$.  We do what we can, right?

I will make sure the kids add a few of their own comments in the next entry - tomorrow my conference begins.

and now a bit for my Italian bunch...

Vale

...AND HERE WE ARE, AT LAST!

Here we are.  We made it, safely and very happy.

The flight was long and bumpy, almost as much as some of the rides at the parks.  We already covered two: Aquatica and SeaWorld!  What a beauty!

It is a place that we all get back to be kids...it is quite relaxing, even if we end up dead by 10 p.m. at night.  I definitely advice all grownups I know to try this recipe against stress!

Hope you enjoy the first pics!  More to come later tonight!  We are headed for Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay!  Ciao a tutti!
